Bitcoin Motor Works is a development program for vehicles that respect both engineering reality and the value of an open, verifiable relationship with a machine.

Our position

Revolutionary does not mean unaccountable.

We are interested in the part of automotive culture that lasts: good proportions, mechanical sympathy, honest repair and the freedom to understand what you own.

Our contribution is a new connective tissue around that culture. Electric, hybrid and conventional vehicles can share a Bitcoin Ecosystem identity layer, while new battery chemistry can be evaluated with the same discipline as every other component.

The work is early. That is why the site uses abstract line studies, not finished car renders. The open space is intentional.

The founding question

Can a vehicle be more open and more personal?

We think it can, if openness is paired with restraint. Publicly verifiable events should not require public exposure of a person’s life. An owner should be able to prove what matters and keep the rest private.

That principle guides everything from the sodium-ion proposition to the vehicle passport: experiment boldly, document the trade-offs and never confuse a compelling story with a validated specification.
